This video provides a glimpse into Phil Gautreau's career transformation starting in June, 2012 from NYC-based healthcare executive to artist and woodworker in his Brooklyn-based studio. His work includes wood furnishings and accessories with a specialty in hand-turned wood vessels and gourmet wood serving boards made with locally-sourced, reclaimed wood. Recent awards for innovative use of sustainable materials include: (2015) Winner, ECO Choice Award at the NY NOW Show; (2014 & 2015) Winner, Inhabitat Green Design Award at BKLYN DESIGNS; and (2015) Finalist, NICHE Award at the AMERICAN MADE Show.
